Training
"OSHA" the Occupational Safety and Health Act states that:
"Prior to permitting an employee to operate a powered industrial truck (except
for training purposes), the employer shall ensure that each operator has
successfully completed the training required by this paragraph". [OSHA, Subpart
N Section 1910.178(I)(2)]

Training Curriculum

- *Our program covers the following:
- Basic Lift Truck Principles
- Safe Operating Procedures
- Stability Principles
- Discussion of OSHA Regulations
- Lift Truck Pre-Shift Daily Inspections
- Load Capacity Principles
- Pedestrian safety
- Operator's Responsibilities
- Classroom Presentation with Video and Visual Aids
- Optional Hands On Review and Evaluation
- Upon successful completion of the course
and passing the written test at the end, the customer will be issued a
Certificate of Completion and an Operator's ID Card for each participant.
Training Classes may be conducted at your location
or at our training center.
- Monthly
Classroom Session
- is held at the Days Inn in Clackamas, Oregon on the second Friday of each
month. Classroom Session, four hours (8:00 am to 12:00 noon) (Afternoon
sessions are available, subject to trainer availability, when the morning
class is fully booked and requests for an afternoon class meet class size
minimums. (1:00 pm to 5:00 pm)

Classroom Sessions
- are held at your location. Classroom sessions is approximately four hours
long. Minimum of five (5).
- 5 - 8 Participants $120.00/Participant
- 9 - 14 Participants $110.00/Participant
- 15 or more Participants $99.00/Participant

Hands-on Review & Evaluation

- are held at our location 7373 SE Milwaukie Expressway, Milwaukie, OR 97222
- after the monthly classroom session or at your location

- Weekends, After Hours
& Out Of Metro Area
- Add $150 per Classroom Session

- Out of Area Fee
is applicable to sessions held outside the Portland Metro Area.
- No-shows
will be billed if customer does not call to cancel reservation by 2:00 pm
the day before class.
- Walk-ins:
Class size is limited, pre-registration is
recommended to ensure space availability. If class is full, walk-ins
will be turned away.
